The original wooden penstock for the power plant was wrestled into position with a lot of muscle.

The old Pioneer Inn, on Main Street, which has since burned down. You can also see the old Grange building. The space in between them is now occupied by the Potter Valley Health Clinic.
This digger, shown in front of a barn that still stands, was used to dig some of the irrigation district canals.
The Spotswood house has been restored as a historical place and stands near the corner of Main Street and West Road. It is currently a residence.
